Hey Pumpkin, Pie Smoothie Bowl

Prep: 3 minutes

Cook: 1-2 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2 smoothie bowls

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. I realize that idiom is usually saved for December, but let’s be honest with ourselves we LOVE the fall.

So, with change in the air, why don’t we change up breakfast? Now, we know pumpkin pie is usually reserved for Thanksgiving, but what if we told you we created the breakfast version, would you be excited? Thought so!

One of the things we love about this recipe is that it uses natural sources of sugar to sweeten the smoothie. The pumpkin in the recipe is packed with vitamins, antioxidants and fiber, great for filling them up. And of course to boost protein we used the Plain Grow Daily shake mix.

If your kiddo is sensitive to spices you can leave them out all together, the smoothie bowl will be great either way. Don’t forget to top it off with their favorite toppings like coconut, granola or more banana.

One last thing before we mix this bowl up, if you have leftovers pop them into some popsicle molds or ice cube trays. They freeze perfectly and are a great treat for after dinner.

Let’s get growing, here’s how you make our Hey Pumpkin, Pie Smoothie Bowl:

  • 2 scoops plain shake mix
