Chocolate, Banana and Oat Cookies

These tasty cookies, created by Hannah from California, will give your sleepy little one a very good reason to get up in the morning!

Hannah shares: “Cookies for breakfast? Yes, please! I don’t know how it is almost time for my son to head back-to-school, but I do know that these Chocolate Banana & Oat Cookies are healthy and great way to start the mornin’. Also great for snackin’! I’ve partnered up with @HealthyHeight to bring you these delicious heart-shaped breakfast cookies that are packed with nutrition, including fiber, protein, essential vitamins, minerals and more!”

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1-1/2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 large scoop of Chocolate Shake Mix
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Tools Needed:

  • Bowl
  • Measuring Tools
  • Fork/Spoon
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper or Silpat
  • Oven

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 and mix and mash all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Scoop the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a Silpat. Flatten down slightly to make circles or using your hands, form into hearts. Place in oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Cool slightly & serve! These can be stored in the fridge for about a week. (I like to heat them up a little in the toaster oven right before serving!)
