New textures can be super fun for kids with developing palates. This chia pudding recipe is a great step to introduce multi textured foods to your kids. Plus, who doesn't love chocolate pudding for breakfast!
Chia seeds are a great source of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. They have a very neutral flavor, and can be incorporated in a ton of favorite foods. We use our Healthy Heights Vanilla KidzProtein in this recipe to pack in even more nutrition, designed specifically for kids!
¾ cups milk of choice
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 scoops Healthy Heights Vanilla KidzProtein
2 tsp stevia or 1 tbsp honey
1. Add milk and chia seeds to blender. Blend for 30 seconds.
2. Add in the cocoa powder, KidzProtein and sweetener of choice. Blend until smooth and creamy. If it is too thick, add a splash more of milk.
3. Scoop mixture into a bowl, cover, and refridgerate for at least one hour and up to overnight.
4. When ready to serve, add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
