Customizable Granola Bars
Recipe of Granola Bars
Nuts, dried fruit, chocolate chips, coconut flakes.. the options are endless! Customize these granola bars to your kid's preferences and it will be their favorite snack in their lunch box!
This quick and easy recipe is a great way to get your kids involved in the kitchen, and get them excited to eat their creation.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup of any Healthy Heights Vanilla Protein Powder - Grow Daily 3+, Grow Daily 10+, KidzProtein, KidzProtein Vegan
- 1 cup nut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
Optional Additions:
- Chocolate chips
- Dried fruit
- Nuts
- Coconut shreds
- Salted Carmel
Make it your own!
Directions:
- Mix oats, protein powder, nut butter and honey together until it is well incorporated.
- Use a greased spatula to press mixture into pan until it is about 1/2 inch thick.
- Refrigerate for one hour
- Remove from fridge and cut into rectangles, this should yield appx. 16 bars
- Store in fridge for up to 4 weeks
