Peanut Butter Breakfast Bar Recipe

This recipe is a great nutritious replacement for high sugar cereal options. Packed with Vitamins A, C, E, K, B6, fiber, and protein. Peanut Butter Breakfast Bar Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Healthy Heights KidzProtein Vanilla
  • 1½ cup quick oats
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • ½ cup flax meal
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup apple sauce
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbps honey

    Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, combine all wet ingredients.

    2. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir to combine. 

    3. Once combined into a cookie dough like texture, place in a 8x8 baking dish. 

    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. 

    5. At this point, feel free to spread peanut butter on top of bars or add toppings as you'd like.

    6. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. 

    7. Cool in refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Cut into 6-9 bars. 

    8. Enjoy for up to a week!
