Nut Butter Balls Recipe: Healthy and Nutritious School Snack

Recipe of Butter Balls 

You'll feel great about sending your kids back to school with this quick, easy, and especially nutritious snack. Packed with protein, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals - these nut butter balls with fuel your kids for an active day. 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice (we used peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup of Healthy Heights Grow Daily 3+ or Healthy Heights Grow Daily 10+ (Vanilla or Plain)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 table spoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Directions:

Add nut butter, honey, and Grow Daily in a large bowl, stir until incorporated. Gently fold in the rolled oats until they are coated with the wet ingredients. Add in optional ingredients if desired and fold until combined. With your hands, roll into balls slightly smaller than a ping pong ball - feel free to let the kids help! Let the Playground 'Butter Balls cool in the fridge for about one hour before enjoying. Store in fridge and consume within one week.
