Protein Pumpkin Bread
When we think of pumpkin bread we usually don't associate it with a healthy snack - but we can now! Your kids will love this dense, sweet, nutritious pumpkin bread for breakfast or an after school snack.
Protein Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 scoops Grow Daily 3+ Vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- a little less than 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
Directions
1. Mix together pumpkin puree, flour, Grow Daily, baking soda, sugar, and spices until smooth.
2. Pour into a bread baking tin.
3. For extra sweetness, sprinkle a mixture of 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice and brown sugar on top of batter. (Optional)
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-22 minutes.
5. Let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying
